1. Passports and visas
Early preparation for working abroad is essential and this includes making sure that you have been granted a working visa for the duration of your stay. Religious customs and traditions also vary across the globe and it may benefit you to learn about these before you arrive also.

5. Assess agreement with employer
If you are successful when applying for a job in another country, you should check your contractual agreement very carefully. If they are seeking an employee from the UK, it is likely that they will have some knowledge in this area already, although it is still recommended that you double check conditions such as finance, accommodation and transport. Find out if your new employer will continue your salary should they experience financial difficulties and, if not, ensure that you have enough financial security to protect yourself should this occur.
